The display background automatically illuminates when the sensor detects low light levels. • 2 rpm (cadence): When pedaling above 140 rpm, the console will stop displaying the cadence and the word "stop" will appear. When pedaling is stopped for more than three seconds, the computer will display the percentages of all variables on the screen. The variables include: heart rate, power, and rpm. • 3 Power and kilocalories: The power being generated is constantly displayed in watts along with the kilocalories, at eight-second intervals for power and four-second intervals for kilocalories. • 4 Heart rate: If there is no heart rate signal, a heart-shaped symbol next to a zero will appear on the screen. A Polar®-compatible and coded heart rate monitor is required. When placed on the chest, it will emit a signal that will be registered by the console, causing the heart symbol to start flashing. A moment later, the heart rate will appear on the console screen. • 5 Elapsed time: Shows the time elapsed since the flywheel started rotating. If pedaling is stopped for more than 60 seconds, the computer will restart, resetting all data to zero. • 6 and 7 resistance level and total distance • Average calculations: To display heart rate, power and rpm averages on the console during the session, stop pedaling for three seconds.
